Thanksgiving Day Sadness Redfork/Berryhill

Staijeck Helm was at home in Redfork/Berryhill Oklahoma with his family like many others awaiting Thanksgiving the day to cook, eat, and be Thankful for all that we have.  Many of us woke up that morning excited to see family, play football in the yard, cook a huge turkey or watch the parade on t.v.  This family unfortunately didn't get to experience any of those things that many of us take for granted.  In the early hours approximately 2:30-3:00 a.m. Mr. Helm heard his truck alarm go off and like many of us do he went out to investigate what made his alarm sound.  At some point he was shot by an individual that was attempting to break into his truck.  Sadly Staijeck would not survive that horrifying moment, he left behind a wife Carla and three boys.  As we all prepared our Thanksgiving meal they had to endure saying goodbye to a husband, father, son, brother and uncle.  I am a friend of the family and I felt that attending his funeral was just not enough and I want to do all that I can to help and I was hoping that there would be enough caring folks out there that could find it in their hearts to help out as well.  I know we are in the beginning of Christmas and I know not everyone has a lot to spare even if it were not Christmas time but every $1 goes a long way when given with pure heart.  I ask that even if you can not donate money to please Share this with others so that this family can have a bit of peace of mind.  I know there are so many fund me accounts out there and you never know when one is true or not you are welcome to check this story out Tulsa county Sheriffs website it should still be there.  All money raised will go to the family so again I ask that you please help me to raise money and share this page with your family and friends.  May the Lord bless this family and all of you.
