Keeping Lovey with her family

Lovey had an 'unplanned' litter of puppies and ended up in the shelter along with her offspring because of a bite. Lovey is a super sweet girl and it was the opinion of staff and volunteers that the bite was because of her motherly instincts to protect her little ones.The Humane Society of Blue Ridge rescued Lovey's puppies  and it was determined that Lovey should be returned to her owner as her owner seems to love her and very much wants her back at home. We would like to send Lovey home vetted so this sweet girl never has another litter to protect. Will you please help us to help Lovey?
