Karen has been hospitalized for last few days and today she a turn for the worse. It was serious and very scary stuff for many of us, her family and friends as well as her too I imagine. The doctors think she will be okay but she is still currently in ICU. We thought we were going to loose her today so this is a blessing.
For any of her friends that don't know, I'm her Niece and grew up with her. We're only 5 years apart in age. I plan to buy her a gift(s), probably something edible, flowers or both and if any balance remains, it'll go on a gift card.
Those family and her friends that know Karen, know she is one of the most unselfish and loving people in the world and has often given her time and money to people and causes she cares for, even when she didn't have much to give at the time. I think it would be nice and very deserving, to give her the attention back when she needs to know we care the most. She will kill me for doing this cause she never asks or expects anything of anyone. I will make sure it's a success if I have to put it all in myself but if you'd like to share the well wishes, please give.
