Backpacks of food for Sunset Ridge Elementary School

Backpacks of food are sent home for the weekends during the school year with children at Sunset Ridge that are in need.  It costs $250 to feed ONE child for the entire school year and we are looking to raise enough money to ensure that 16 students will have access to backpacks.  Additional funds above this amount will allow for the continuity of the program and the growth to help other schools in our district that also participate in this program. Currently, there are 170 bags given out EACH WEEK in our district, with bags averaging $6-$7 per bag to pack.
