Our debt to the Electricity Company is due. We have accumulated debts of 4230 shekels ($1,312.76 USD). Please help us share our campaign so we can repay our debts before the repayment period ends.
March 31st 2022 Update
The young relative has had her ovarian cysts removed. Another relative has completed their treatment in Egypt and returned to Gaza. The family needs to continue raising money to cover the cost of medications, to buy groceries for the month of ramadan, and to make food baskets for their neighborhood during the month of ramadan so that every family can have food during the holy month.
The Gaza Strip is one of the most densely populated places on earth and has been subjected to a land, air, and sea blockade since 2007. During the pandemic unemployment rates rose above 70%. Families are also subjected to frequent carpet bombing, electricity cuts, and lack of access to food, water, and housing.
The Salem family is a Palestinian family in the Gaza Strip. There is a total number of 29 people. It is composed of four smaller familiar units where all members are related or connected to one another through kinship or marriage. The money from these funds will be used for medicine, food, debt payment, and school fees. Any excess funds will be used to make food baskets for their neighborhood in Khan Yunis.
