Poor little Herbie is a 7 lb , 10 yr old yorkie that has been through the ringer. He came to us from a backyard breeder who had been horrible to him, he had heartworms and A Collapsed lung. Then he had ulcers in his mouth that took months and a dental to cure. NOW HE HAD TO HAVE HIS EYE REMOVED! . The vet bill was $1500!
Once again an emergency that we did not foresee. This is Rescue though and we do everything that needs to be done for the animals in our care.
It has been a year full of bumps and we have lost several of our senior sanctuary dogs as well. We appreciate all the support form across the country!
