It’s OFFICIAL! I got the call today from the AMA inviting me to represent the USA in the 2018 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Vina del Mar, Chile! (November 12-17, 2018) After competing in a series of qualifying events, I earned my spot among the top riders in the nation who get to be a part of this prestigious event on the US Team.
The ISDE or “Six Days†is known as The Olympics of motorcycle racing and is the largest, longest running, and most prestigious off-road motorcycling event in the world. This will be the 93rd running of the event which started in 1913(running every year except for the years during WWI & WWII). Like the Olympics, countries from all over the world select their top riders to represent their nation while competing for the highest of all honors in motorcycle racing. Each year, the race is hosted by a country where over 1,000 top racers must traverse some of the world’s toughest varying terrain from sandy beaches, to rocky cliffs and towering mountains, to dense wooded forests for six days straight and for well over 1,000 miles. The format of this race is unique and a true test of both man and machine. Only the riders themselves are allowed to work on their bike for just a few min per day and they are not permitted to replace certain parts of the motorcycle.
Competing in the ISDE is an incredible and an extremely expensive honor, as each racer who receives an invitation must pay their own way. From shipping my bike overseas, to airfare, lodging, food, ground transport, insurance, parts, tools, and much much more, the cost of each rider is estimated to be $25,000-$30,000. Therefore, for the next few months leading up to Six Days, I will be holding several fundraising events, selling t-shirts, and humbly accepting donations in order to raise the funds needed to get to Chile to compete for our nation and hopefully bring home a Gold Medal and make you all proud!

Every single donation will make a difference, there is no amount too small to help me reach my goal. I have chosen to use Social Fund for donations because it does not take a percentage and 100% of your donation will go directly to funding my journey. It is a big goal, but having come this far in my racing career and accomplishing the considerable task of qualifying, I am determined to achieve this dream of mine.
