Meet Rocky — my 2-year-old tabby, my shadow, and the best cuddle therapist I could ask for.
Last week our world flipped. Rocky stopped eating and became really lethargic. After scans at the vet, we got devastating news: Rocky has a tumor in his abdomen. The vet said without urgent treatment, we don’t have much time left with him.
The good news: it’s treatable. His oncologist recommended immediate chemo + surgery, which gives Rocky a strong chance to beat this and live many more years.
The hard part: the treatment plan costs $3,200 USD. That covers his scans, chemo sessions, surgery, meds, and follow-up care. As much as I wish I could cover this alone, I can’t do it without help.
Rocky isn’t just a cat. He’s the one who greets me at the door every day. He slept on my chest when I had COVID. He “helps” me work by sitting on my keyboard. I promised him I’d fight for him like he’s fought for me.
How funds will be used:*
- *$850*: CT scan + biopsy already done
- *$1,200*: Tumor removal surgery
- *$900*: 6 weeks of chemotherapy
- *$250*: Meds, recovery, follow-up visits
Even $5 helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this means the world. I’ll post vet updates and receipts so you see exactly how Rocky’s doing and where every dollar goes.
Thank you for helping me save my best friend.
