The once beautiful Mannington Mill Theater is in dire need of TLC. This theater was built in 1932 and closed in the mid 1960's. Throughout the years it has suffered from water damage, roof damage and neglect and it's time to bring it back to life....
With support from you, we can renovate this awesome historic building and reopen it not only as a movie theater, but as a community event and performing arts center. This will bring jobs and training to so many in our town.
Our first priority is to remove and replace the roof. Several leaks have formed over the years and it is now beyond the point of simply patching. In order to make this theater a showpiece, we need to start at the top.
Secondly we need to purchase conceptual drawings to show our plans to potential corporate donors.
Please give what you can and spread the word. Donors will be recognized once the theater is operational.
