Igor lay for 4 days suffering

Igor has had little improvement and there is a need to do a CT/MRI right away.  We can not leave him in this horrible a condition.  He is on large doses of Pain meds and anti inflammatory meds.  He has left the hospital because they can do no more for him until they see scans and we have a bill thousands.   

We will care for him around the clock in my home.  But we need to cover the vet bill and raise the funds for him to these scans done and figure out if we can do surgery or injections into the spine to help.  Thoughts is that he was stomped or kicked more than ran over or beat with an object. One reason is that there is absolutely no signs of wounds outside you would see with the normal hit by car or ran over.  So someone did this to this sweet boy.

Igor was picked up by ac where he had been suspected of being Hit By Car.  

He lay in animal control in NM for at least 4 days with no rescues willing to help him even when in the shelter nearly daily to pull other dogs.  He lay there.  

His hips were dislocated and have been set and one is going to need of surgical repair but that is the least of his problems.  

When he was first rushed into the hospital as an 911 they were very fearful he was suffering neurological and spinal and nerve issues all or at least part.  We are leaning more to spine/back and nerve damage.  Though we will not know for sure without a very expensive CT scan.  

We are already well over $2000 into his care and we have a long way to go.  But like so many dogs out of this community we were not going to do nothing.  We can not see it in front of us and do nothing.  How any of them could have looked at this baby suffering and did nothing is beyond me.  

This baby deserves all that we can do to save him and give him a chance at a life that clearly he has not had of love and kindness and a family.

He is so thin and covered in thousands of fleas.  His blood work was actually better than anyone thought it would be.  He is very anemic however and we are hoping that it is parasites and he is on panacur for that and he is on heavy pain meds and anti inflammatory meds and antibiotics and steroids in hopes of helping any inflammation that could be leading to this horrible pain.  We need the scan to really see what all is damaged.  

He hurts so horrible and yet he ate out of our hands and the vet and vet techs hands.  He is terrified of being hurt further you can tell but his eyes pleading to be saved and healed.  

Because he was a street dog that does not mean his life does not matter because it certainly does matter.
