Avery Thompson is a high school senior who has competed in SkillsUSA web design for the past three years, even at the national level. With her experience, a new partner, and success at regionals, she feels more prepared than ever to take on the state competition. The only problem is that it costs $250 to move onto the state level for food, hotel rooms, and more. As a senior, Avery already has to pay for many other expenses such as multiple AP tests, prom tickets, and more. Without your donation, she might not be able to afford to compete this year. She is graduating this year, and this is her last, and biggest, chance to make it to nationals again. Any amount helps.
SkillsUSA is a nationwide competition with more than 395,000 students competing. The competitions consist of real-world skills that transfer into the workplace, such as welding, cosmetology, carpentry, web design, and more. The competition consists of three levels: regional, state, and national, with the addition of WorldSkills.
