My name is Abood, from Gaza. I am 26 years old. I was living a normal life, but now everything has changed. I had to let go of everything I once had or dreamed of.
The war has destroyed my home completely, leaving my family and me displaced, hopeless, and struggling to survive. We can hardly live with no shelter, and only a small amount of food, if any. I’ve even lost 35 kilograms.
Now, I work tirelessly to support my family. As the eldest son, my younger brothers and sisters look to me they depend on me.
I can’t bear to keep seeing my family suffer. The war has made it unbearable to live here. I can’t stay, and I can’t see a future in this endless cycle of violence, hunger, and destruction.
I’m trying to hold on — and this is where I need your help. You may be able to save my life and give me a chance at a future. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to safety and hope.
