Portugal Mission Trip

Hello friends and family! I have some news that I am very excited to share with you; this spring (March 1-7) I have been given the opportunity to go on a Palm Beach Atlantic University mission trip to Porto, Portugal! Sharing the Gospel abroad with the youth in Porto is going to make for a really cool mission trip that is unlike any that I have been a part of before!

On this trip we will be partnering with the organization CRU to go to the local high schools and work with the students there. We will get to know the students and build relationships with them in the classroom during the school hours, but we will also be able to further those relationship with them after school by going to events and hanging out with them. Our goal is to share the Gospel with them and encourage them in their faith through conversations during everyday activities. 

Working with high school age students in a mission setting is something that is new to me and with that comes some nerves. I am excited to be pushed in my faith and grow in new ways, but I would appreciate your support in prayer for me to be an instrument of Christ as we share the Gospel and God’s love with the youth in Porto. Your support in prayer for safe travels, for our team leaders, for a positive team dynamic, and for open hearts and minds in the youth as we share the Gospel with them would be much appreciated.

Besides asking for donations, our team is going to be doing a lot of fundraising activities around campus this spring before our trip. Please do not feel obligated to give money; prayer is just as important! I am trusting God to provide the funds for this trip.
