Parker's new life begins today

Parker is still just a puppy by most standards, but he packed a lot of living into those few months. He was born and subsequently “found” in Texas. The kind lady who took him also made sure he got his rabies shot and an exam and was cared for but her job took her away from home and from him much of the time. She left him in the care of a well-intentioned relative who had a physical challenge and Parker's care consisted of being tethered in the yard. A caring neighbor saw him and offered to take him in as she had a fence around her property and he could be allowed to roam as he pleased during the day. His journey was long and winding but it finally took him to a rural Georgia shelter where dogs who are not rescued or adopted will die when there is no more room...That's where Team Dahlonega and the mighty Rescue Army comes in. He needed out and you helped get him the funding he needed, and the awesome folks at Diamonds in the Ruff MO chose him and they're going to help him find his happy ever after.
