WELCOME  WANDERER, 

LET'S  PLANT  TREES, MILLIONS OF TREES ... 

But let's start with a small Forest. A little bit goes a long way :) 

On 5 Sept 2020,  I will attempt EVERESTING, climbing the height of the Mt EVEREST, TOP OF THE WORLD  8848 m, in a single session with my Bicycle ( Green Machine ) and hopefully, you will be part of my journey on the mountain and fund my project :) THX !!!

My attempt will be done at Medellin Colombia ( El Retiro ) on a  Hill called Teguendamita ( little waterfall ) ...  1,7 km long,   6,1 percent avg, elevation gain 107 m so I will need to do 83 repetitions totaling 300 km, on the positive side half of it is downhill and the descent is smooth and fun :) 

100 percent of the funds will be turned into an  oxygen-producing, carbon capturing machine called NATURE = GAIA  

1 € buys a small tree,  2,25 an average tree 4 a Big tree 

75 percent will go to my own eco-restoration project every donor will get multiples trees on the land we will restore 

25 procent will go directly to SAVETHEPARADISE

WHY DID I SETUP THIS PROJECT?

The UN declared this Decade, the Decade of restoration 

I took this time given to me in 2020 and started an online eco-restoration design course...  Amazing course, being taught by eco restorers from around the globe in different ecosystems and habitats. Forest, Urban, Oceans ...

we can RESTORE, we just need to STOP TALKING and START DOING

 WHERE WILL WE RESTORE 

El Retiro and Medellin  Colombia  (it's Colombia, not Columbia ) 

Together with a local Botanist Bernardo Echavarria Soto 

we have  2 plots available that we can plant trees on and experiment with the techniques learned in my course ..  Tiny forest, food forest, permaculture, agroforestry ... 

1 st  plot (main picture)  is at the property I was fortunate enough to spend this lockdown and grew a big bond with, the Biodiversity here Is already  Amazing, the bird's species I  can't count on 1 hand let alone the butterflies,  but together we will take it to the next level we can restore 1 acre of recovering degraded pastureland ), this plot is above 2000 m Sealevel so requires specific tree species...)

2 The other plot is part of Bernard's existing forest, the focus there is too expand the Native forest into other farmlands and create a bigger corridor for wildlife, planting Native species some of which are threatened with extinction.

@posadademoises, Adriana de La Rosa is the spirit behind this social project for children,  they give food and a roof to  42 children in need in Downtown Medellin. They recently received 12 children from Indigenous communities who are struggling, facing a lot of treats
