Please review and accept our Terms of Service
By making a donation on Social.fund, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Platform Role: Social.fund is a technology platform that connects Donors with Campaign Organisers. We are not a charity, financial institution, or fiduciary. We do not guarantee the legitimacy of any campaign or the use of donated funds.
2. Donation Risk: Donations are made at your own discretion and risk. Social.fund cannot guarantee that funds will be used as described by the Campaign Organiser. Donations are generally non-refundable.
3. No Fees: Social.fund does not charge any platform fees or tips. Third-party payment processors may apply their own transaction fees.
4. Enforcement Actions: Social.fund reserves the right to suspend campaigns, freeze/hold funds, terminate accounts, and take other enforcement actions to protect donors and maintain ecosystem integrity — without prior notice and at its sole discretion.
5. Dispute Resolution: All disputes are resolved through individual binding arbitration. You waive the right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings against Social.fund.
6. Crisis Campaigns: Campaigns related to wars, conflicts, disasters, and refugee crises are subject to enhanced verification. Unverified crisis campaigns may be suspended or have funds held pending review.
7. Limitation of Liability: Social.fund is a free, zero-fee connecting platform that does not receive, hold, or process donated funds — all payments flow directly between Donors and Campaign Organisers through third-party Payment Processors (e.g. PayPal, Stripe). Accordingly, Social.fund’s total aggregate liability is capped at the total fees you have paid directly to Social.fund, which under our zero-fee model is $0. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
