Hello!! My name is Jasmine and I'm seeking help to raise at least two weeks' worth of rent. My family was displaced in 2017 and we have been living in a motel since. The cost of living in Austin has been on the rise and while we do have income coming in (courtesy of my amazing husband), the rate at our motel continues to increase making it harder and harder to pay each week!
I've been having a hard time finding good, permanent employment while my husband pushes through working his job that won't even allow him to work more than 4 days a week. I was diagnosed with lupus in September 2018 and have been able to work small temporary jobs over the past few months. Just recently I interviewed and got offered jobs at two different companies! While I'm very excited at the potential changes that would result from accepting either one of these jobs, the reality is that I wouldn't get paid until later in the month as I'm still waiting for background checks to clear. This is where you come in!
Our rate daily rate is $50.99+taxes. This equates to $410.47 for a 7-night stay. I'm seeking enough to cover at least two weeks so that we don't have to become homeless and have our children in a place they don't deserve to be. Even if you can't donate sharing will definitely be appreciated! Thank you!
