My name is Mohammed Al Kafarna, and I am a 34-year-old father from Gaza. My life was shattered when war tore apart everything I had built. I am a husband and father of five beautiful children, the youngest of whom is just four months old, Masa, born into a world of chaos and uncertainty. In an instant, our home, once filled with laughter and love, was reduced to rubble, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I lost everything: my possessions, my important documents, even my university degrees. Now, my children and I struggle daily against poverty and hunger;
some days, we can’t even find enough food. We live in a tent on the streets, always on the move, searching for safety. I have been displaced more times than I can count, and the fear for my children’s safety never leaves me. Every day is a battle to protect them from the horrors around us, to find shelter, food, and a moment of peace in a world where survival is our only focus. My children look to me for protection, and the weight of this responsibility is too great. I try to stay strong for them, but the reality is devastating. I need your help. My family deserves a chance to rebuild and heal from the trauma we have endured. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to having a roof over our heads, safe shelter, food on our table, and a future where my children can grow up without fear. And continue the education they have been denied. Please help us find hope in this dark time.
Yesterday 9/11/2024,
my 6-year-old daughter Hala was shot in the foot by a four-wheel drive aircraft. She underwent emergency surgery and now needs to be evacuated outside Gaza to complete her treatment. I hope you will pray for her recovery and help by donating.
