Hi friends, changing one's name/gender in California legally is real expensive. Here are the fees:

Petition for a decree of change of name/gender - $435
Certified Copy of Court Order ($25.50 x3) - $76.50
DMV - $28
Birth Certificate - $23
Passport: $170

Grand Total: $722.50
