A miracle for Maggie Moon

Thirty-month-old Maggie Moon, a shep collie mix, is loved by everyone at her shelter. That's why they've fought hard to keep her safe for six long months. They've held out so much hope that someone, somewhere would see how very special Maggie is but Maggie is a black dog, heartworm positive and, to add insult to injury, Maggie Moon has some mammary masses. But Maggie is worth fighting for. She was abandoned by her family and brought to the shelter as a 'stray'. She had a beautiful collar on that day, so somebody loved her once upon a time and someone once played ball with her, as Maggie simply loves playing with a ball. But they never did come looking for her..to this day she sits and waits for them to come save her from the fate that awaits her. Team Dahlonega was determined to change that fate, and with the help of the mighty Rescue Army, she has found a way out.
