2 months LATE on RENT - Covid Crisis Consequences

Good morning to all,

I pray that everyone is doing well mentally and emotionally.  I am humbling myself to the point of asking for help online because I am afraid for my family.  We live in Louisiana, where the virus has spread at a faster rate than anywhere else in the world.  Because of this, we have been issued a "Stay-at-home" order.  That being said, we are unable to go out and find jobs to replace the ones that were cut due to the crisis.

Today puts us at two months behind on rent.  The owners have been very generous, but I can tell they are running out of patience.  I am afraid of being evicted during this time because we have literally no money.  Our last money was spent on our electric bill to ensure we at least have that during this time.  My grandfather was helping us with food before the crisis, but his living facility has been shut down: I can no longer visit him or be blessed by him with food.

Our rent is 560 each month with a late fee of $25.  I am blessed to be at an apartment complex that will work with us, but being that they are privately owned, I am afraid of being told to leave tomorrow.  I pray that whomever finds it in his or her heart to help us during this time is blessed beyond tenfold in Jesus' name. Amen

sidenote: I made food our picture because we are in need of food supplies in addition to help with rent. We are the type of people who will help our community (especially our complex comprised mainly of seniors) with food once we have some to give to others.
